Miss Gantt is a current SC native. She graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor's degree and later on received her Master's from Grand Canyon University. She enjoys watching football, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. This is Miss Gantt's 3rd year at Pelion Middle School where she also serves as the middle school's cheer coach. Nikki has lived in South Carolina for almost three years. This is her second year at PMS. She received her teaching certification in special education from East Carolina University and has a degree in Anthropology from UNC-Charlotte. This is her 4th year teaching. She has spent her career working with children, adults and seniors in various non-profit organizations focused on education, community outreach and health.
 
In her free time, Nikki enjoys watching movies, playing board games, cooking, exercising and going to concerts. She and her husband have made their home in Lexington with their son John, and daughter Dannah.

I began my journey at Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital, Columbia SC. I then entered the school setting in Lexington District Two. In Lex. Two, I served as an SLP and as a teacher of preschoolers with special needs for a few years. This is my 8th year with Lexington School District One. I have worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the preschool, elementary, and middle school populations.
When I'm not at work, my life revolves around my wonderful family and College baseball.
