Wanda Bolanos

¡Hola! My name is Wanda Bolaños and I'm excited to say this is my sixth year teaching elementary school. I grew up in New York and then I moved to Puerto Rico at a young age. I graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico in 1991. Before starting my teaching career, I worked 24 years with several companies in the private sector. Being a military spouse, I have had the opportunity to travel and live in many different states and countries around the world. This is what led to my passion to teach. I knew I wanted to make a difference. I began my teaching career in Lexington School District One when I decided to change careers. I completed my teaching certification through the Program of Alternative Certification for Educators (PACE) with my World Language(K-6) certification. My husband and I have three children; Beatriz, Ricardo and Natalia. Currently, I live in South Carolina with my husband, Boris, and my daughter Natalia.
