4-year-old kindergarten program — If your child will be 4 years old by September 1, your child may be eligible for 4-year-old kindergarten program. You can apply for the program online or at the elementary school your child would normally attend. For more information on preschool, click here. 

5-year-old kindergarten program — If your child will be 5 years old by September 1, your child is eligible for 5-year-old kindergarten. You must register your child at the elementary school your child would normally attend. If your child currently attends a 4-year-old kindergarten program in Lexington County School District One, you do not need to register your child for 5-year-old kindergarten.

First Grade — If your child will be 6 years old by September 1, your child is eligible for first grade. If your child currently attends a 5-year-old kindergarten program in Lexington County School District One, you do not need to enroll your child for first grade. This is done automatically for you. However, if your child currently attends a private 5-year-old kindergarten, you must register your child at the elementary school your child would normally attend.

• a completed South Carolina Certificate of Immunization
• South Carolina driver's license or other state/federal photograph identification for the parent/guardian 
• Parents/guardians will need to know which school their child will attend based on their residence before they start the enrollment process. Address verifications can be made through the district's online school locator at https://app.guidek12.com/lexington1sc/school_search/2024/.
• proof of residency 
  • To show that you are the owner or renter of the property listed as your family's address, you will need to provide one of the following: power bill; water bill; mortgage statement; or rental agreement. If you are unable to produce any of the documents listed above, please contact the school or the Office of Student Services at 803-821-1029 to discuss alternative documentation that may be acceptable. Documentation may be uploaded in the online enrollment portal or may be brought to the school.

If you are a new Lexington One parent follow these directions to create a FinalForms account. If you are already a Lexington One parent with a FinalForms account, you can skip to the directions in the next section.

1. Go to: https://lexington-sc.finalforms.com/
2. Locate the parent icon and click NEW ACCOUNT, then follow the steps to create your account.
3. Type your YOUR NAME, DATE OF BIRTH, and EMAIL. Next, click REGISTER.
4. NOTE: You will receive an email within 2 minutes prompting you to confirm and complete your registration. If you do not receive an email, then check your spam folder. If you still can not locate the FinalForms email, then email support@finalforms.com informing our team of the issue.
5. Check your email for an ACCOUNT CONFIRMATION EMAIL from the FinalForms Mailman. Once received and opened, click CONFIRM YOUR ACCOUNT in the email text.
6. Create your new FinalForms password. Next, click CONFIRM ACCOUNT.

1. Go to: https://lexington-sc.finalforms.com/
2. Click LOGIN under the Parent Icon, and login.
3. Locate and click the ADD STUDENT button.
4. Type in the LEGAL NAME and other required information. Then, click CREATE STUDENT.
5. Complete each form and sign your name (as it is listed underneath the signature field) in the
   parent signature field on each page. After signing each, click SUBMIT FORM and move on to
   the next form.
6. When all forms are complete, you will see a ‘Forms Finished’ message.
7. To enroll additional new students, click on "My Students" and repeat Steps 3–7.
