Weekly Updates from Mrs. McNair

Hello Explorers!

Check out Exploring the Glen and the MGES Website.

All iPads, Chromebooks, and chargers are being collected at school. Devices will remain at school over the summer. To avoid technology charges, make sure your student turns in the device and charger to their teacher if they still need to do so.

Additionally, all library books should be turned in and lunch money accounts should be cleared. Thank you for your attention to these needs.

Thursday, May 25 will be the last day to visit MGES for lunch. Due to many activities, we cannot accommodate lunch visitors after May 25.

Our last Restaurant Night is May 25 at Menchies! Stop by between 4 - 8 PM and support MGES as you enjoy a treat with friends!

We are looking forward to Field Day Friday, May 26. Due to safety supervision needs, only those parents who are signed up to work at a station will be able to attend. We will not have a spectator location.

Monday, May 29 is a school holiday for students and staff.

Spring Concert featuring 1st and 2nd grade will be Tuesday, May 30 at 8:30 am. We are excited to hear what Mrs. Thrift and students will be performing for us!

Our Fifth-grade promotion ceremony will be held Wednesday, May 31 at 8:30 AM in the cafeteria. Seating will be on a first-come basis. Please be sure to have your identification ready for a smooth entry that morning.

  • When your student is sick, it is okay for them to remain home. And, when your student is absent for any reason, please send those excuses to school within 3 days of absences.
