Lexington Elementary School

Global Minds with Caring Hearts.

  • Elementary School (K-5)

At Lexington Elementary School, all students are given opportunities to practice leadership in a global context. Though the school is the center of learning, everyone - parents, teachers, administrators, and the community - take responsibility for the success of all students.

  • MEAL PROGRAMS:
Students will be required to begin paying for meals again when school begins unless they qualify for the Free and Reduced Meals Program. If you believe that you might qualify for free or reduced meals, you MUST complete this online application. We encourage families to complete the meal benefit application as soon as possible to ensure their student is able to enjoy low-cost, nutritious meals when school starts on August 16th.

For families who do not qualify for free or reduced meals, meal prices for the school year (2022–23) are listed below:

    Lunch

    • Elementary: $3.30
    • Milk: $0.60

    Breakfast

    • Elementary: $1.80

Visit www.k12paymentcenter.com/ to upload money to your student’s meal account. Your meal account balance will transfer to the new system, Titan, before the first day of school.

  • BUS TRANSPORTATION:
If you are requesting bus transportation for your child, you will need to complete the bus transportation form that is located in the parent portal.  If your child is in 4K or 5K and you are requesting pm bus transportation, you will also need to complete the kindergarten bus transportation pick-up list to indicate who your child can be picked up by at the bus stop. Bus transportation forms must be completed in the Parent Portal by Wednesday, August 10 for students to ride the bus beginning on the first day of school, Tuesday, August 16.

    • Any time that you update your child’s transportation to bus transportation, there could be a three-day turnaround time before your child is approved to ride the bus.  If you believe you could need bus transportation, go ahead and complete bus transportation forms now on the parent portal. If needed, you can write a note to your child’s teacher in the future to change transportation.
