Band Director

Welcome to the Raider Band! We are going to have a wonderful time learning and making music. My favorite part of middle school band is teaching students how to play their instruments, and I love seeing the progress students make over the course of the year! Band is more than just music; we work hard to grow as leaders and people. Music is a part of our lives, whether the impact is big or small, and I can’t wait to start this journey with you!

Just a little about me, I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.M.Ed. in Instrumental Music. I’ve taught band and instrument lessons in South Carolina, New York, and Germany. In my spare time I love to read, play video games, and crochet. My husband, Andrew, is a percussionist in the Army, and we have a Husky named Tchaikovsky.
