I can’t wait to share the passion I have for reading, writing, and critical thinking with the 7th and 8th grade ELA students at the Beech!  I graduated from Purdue University in 2000.  Boiler Up!  Since then I have added a couple of graduate degrees from USC, as well as my Reading Recovery certification from Clemson.  After spending two years in Nicaragua as a Peace Corps Volunteer, I began teaching in 2004.  I enjoy playing tennis, reading, hanging with Max (my german shepherd), and watching my son play sports.  Go Bengals!
