A graduate of Lexington One Schools, Elizabeth was happy to begin teaching here in 2006. She spent the first 12 years of her career at Pelion Middle School as a Computer Teacher and Assistant Principal. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in Public Relations. Not long after graduating, Elizabeth pursued her passion for teaching with a Master's in Teaching and focused on Business Education.  After several years of teaching, she then pursued a Master's in Educational Administration.  Elizabeth has happily worked as an Assistant Principal since the completion of this degree in 2011. She continued her work as an Assistant Principal with a move to Lexington Middle in 2018. Mrs. Whiz became the Principal of White Knoll Elementary in 2021 and enjoys loving, learning, and leading the students of White Knoll Elementary. 

 Outside of school, Elizabeth is a member of the Lexington community, a wife, and a mom of three.  She is an avid learner, and shopper, and enjoys camping trips with her family.

My wife Margaret and I reside in Columbia with our two daughters Pearson(11), Molly(8), and our son Winn (4). My passions are spending time with my family, Clemson Football, and golf. I also have an identical twin brother Gabriel, who I am extremely close to!  I am so excited to work with our students and this wonderful community!

I have been married 31 years. My husband Allen and I have three boys. Sam, 24, Aaron 20 and Will 18. Our family enjoys boating on Lake Murray as well as exploring the waterways on our coast. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, days on the beach and gardening. We enjoy Citadel football games and wandering the streets of Charleston - Go Bulldogs!!
