At the Jan. 23, 2024 board meeting, the Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees approved the promotion of Brian Lim to principal of Meadow Glen Middle School, effective July 1, 2024. Lim currently serves as one of MGMS’s assistant principals.

A dedicated leader who works to instill collective leadership among students, teachers and staff, Lim began his career in education at River Bluff High School, where he taught various mathematics courses, served as assistant athletic director, and coached the men’s and women’s tennis teams. He joined the team at Meadow Glen Middle in July 2021 to serve as an assistant principal. 

Lim earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics, a Master of Teaching in secondary mathematics, and a Master of Education in educational administration from the University of South Carolina. He holds certifications as a secondary principal and mathematics teacher. 

He is a member of the South Carolina Association of School Administrators, the Palmetto State Teachers’ Association and the South Carolina Athletics Coaches Association.
