Welcome back to school. We have a full three weeks planned and need all of our students at school, on time, all day, each day. Every minute counts!
If you are looking for those jackets and hoodies, there’s a good chance they are in the lost and found. Please remind your student to take a look for missing items.
Our School Improvement Council is excited to partner with PTO and faculty to introduce our First Annual International Night. January 26 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, we invite all families to come immerse themselves in the diverse cultures and traditions by sampling international food, creating crafts, and watching performances.
There are many ways that you and your family can participate. Students and their families are encouraged to create a booth to share traditional food or crafts from their country, dress for the parade, or share a cultural performance. We are a part of a remarkable and diverse community and we would like to learn a little more about each other. An interest form is attached in ParentSquare and also will be sent home in print this week. Please consider sharing your heritage with our community.
Additionally, we would love for our students from various countries around the world to participate in our Parade of Nations. Students are invited to wear traditional clothing for the parade if they would like. We hope these events will become a celebrated event each year as we learn about each other.
