My name is Misty Smith. I was born and raised in Gatesville, Texas. I was a stay-at-home mom for many years. When my oldest was a senior in high school, I decided to be a substitute for Lexington One, and then when my youngest went off to college, I became a full-time instructional assistant. I joined the White Knoll Elementary School family in 2021. This is my second year as an assistant to Ms. Gunter.

I am married and have two beautiful children. My son is in the US Navy, and my daughter is currently enrolled in her sophomore year at the Citadel. I love to read, spend time with my family, and travel to Texas and wherever my son is stationed.
