Multilingual Learner Program Teacher

Liza Speece, MLP (Multilingual Learner Programs) Teacher, has been in education for 19 years. Dr. Speece is originally from Asheville, NC but has made Lexington her home for many years. She speaks Spanish, has two dogs, and enjoys spending time with her family, walking at the river and has recently discovered the fun of paddle boarding. She believes this quote by Ana Campanella: “One of the benefits of being bicultural is simply the awareness that how you live is not the only way.”
