Specialized Autism Support Teacher

My name is Karen Albertson and I am a Specialized Autism Support (or, SAS) Teacher at Lakeside Middle. This is my 20th year in education. I hold a B.A. in Elementary/Middle Education and a M. Ed. in Learning Disabilities. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher.

I am originally from Virginia and my husband, Phil, and I have 3 children and 3 cats. Being outside, traveling, reading, exercising, and spending time with family and friends are my favorite activities outside of school.
