Art Teacher

My name is Emily McKinney and I am very excited to be one of the Art Teachers here at Lakeside Middle School. This year is my first year teaching and I am look forward to making connections, learning, creating, and sharing art alongside my students. Before Lakeside, I graduated from Anderson University in May 2023 and received a B.F.A. in Art Education.

After school hours I love to hang out with my family (including my dog Mia) and friends. In addition, my free time is mostly spent watching movies, making art, singing, and dancing despite having no rhythm. I can't wait to start this amazing adventure at Lakeside!
