Year 28- LET'S DO THIS!

A proud graduate of the University of South Carolina, Rachel holds a B.A. in Theatre and Speech, a M.A.T. in Theatre, is a National Board Certified Teacher and also holds endorsement in GIfted and Talented Teaching. She is serving as President of the South Carolina Theatre and Speech Association (SCSTA) for 2023-2024 and also serves as lead middle school teacher for Lexington 1.

When not teaching, Rachel works on her craft. She's been seen and heard in commercials, industrial training videos, on stage with Workshop Theatre and Columbia Children’s Theatre, where she has also served as a member of the Executive Board. She loves to travel with her daughter, AR, who is now a senior in high school. Reading, piddling in the yard, watching documentaries on Netflix, laughing, and discovering cool new restaurants are things that make her smile.

Inspiring students to challenge themselves creatively while finding adventure along the way is her jam. The door is always open, so feel free to stop on by anytime.
