I am excited to join the Beechwood staff. I began teaching in 1996. Most recently, I taught eighth grade ELA and English I at Pleasant Hill Middle. I have taught middle school, high school, and college English/Language Arts courses. I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Education from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in English from Clemson University. I am endorsed in Gifted and Talented Education and Advanced Placement English. My husband serves as a pilot in the Army National Guard, and my daughter starts middle school this year. We love pets! We have two Yorkiepoos and one cat. I enjoy reading and gardening. The
