Math Teacher

My name is Kristie Shelly and I am teaching 8th grade math and Algebra 1 Honors this year. I am very excited to be at Lakeside Middle School! This is my 17th year of teaching math. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University (located in Ohio) and am National Board Certified in Early Adolescence Math.

Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. I am married to my wonderful husband, Nick, and am blessed to call two fun 11 year olds, Grace and Reed, my own. It is going to be a great year at Lakeside Middle School. Go Raiders!
