Social Studies Teacher

My name is Cassie Sundell. I am a 8th grade Social Studies teacher. My favorite aspect about 8th grade SC/US history is the fact that the students are learning and understanding about the formation of our country and how the South had a huge impact on the formation on the beginning of the USA. I have been teaching for 10 years. I have been with LMS for 8 years. When I am not roaming the halls of Lakeside, I am enjoying my amazing family. I have the priviledge of being the wife to my awesome husband, Sheldon and the mom to 4 humans and 2 cats, Cecelia, Dane, Lily, Olivia, Joey and Ozzie. We love to explore the national parks (my goal is to fill up my passport book by the time I turn 50) when we aren't found on a basketball court or lacrosse field. This summer I was able to visit Zion National Park with my husband! It was breathtaking and beautiful!
