US/SC History Teacher

My name is Pam Vazquez and I am so excited to share the story with your child about our journey from a small colony to the incredible state we have become! Everything we do will reflect upon personal narratives, primary and secondary sources, and outside sources to embrace the rich history of our beautiful state.

When I am not at Lakeside, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have so many life-long friends that keep me grounded. I am also blessed to have two (Lexington High graduate) children who, along with their amazing spouses, are my heart and soul! I am also honored to be known as Grammy to my incredible granddaughter (Ella Gray), and grandson (Banks), whom I adore!

I learn from my students every day. They make me laugh, sometimes cry, jump for joy, sigh in exasperation, question my existence, and so much more...That's WHY I teach (and love) middle school kiddos!
