Spanish and World Cultures Teacher

Hola amigos! My name is Filder Segura. I am excited about teaching Spanish and World Cultures this year. Prior to Lakeside, I taught Spanish grades 6-8 at Meadow Glen Middle. This is my 16th year in education. I hold a Doctorate in Education from Nova University in FL, a Masters degree in Education, and a Bachelor in World Languages.

When I am not at Lakeside, I enjoy spending time with my family, my wife and three children, Dustin, Valerie and Isabella. We enjoy singing and dancing Salsa and all Latin music. I also love watching Marvel movies, playing soccer, and doing my daily workout. I am excited to help build character by touching minds and hearts as well as meaningful learning through a foreign language and culture. Go Raiders!
