German and World Cultures Teacher

My name is Alex Brinkman, and I am so excited to start my first year at Lakeside Middle. Before teaching here, I taught at Shawnee High School in Lima, Ohio for two years, where I taught all levels of German. I have a B.A. in German with a minor in International Studies and an M.A. in European Studies, both from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, hiking, exploring new places, arts and crafts, and painting. I am looking forward to building connections with students and getting them interested in new languages and cultures!
