Hello Bengals, I have a total of 39 years of teaching. I am the new teacher here in 6th grade. I am returning to Lexington School District One and very excited to be at Beechwood Middle School. I was a military brat and spouse, because of that, I started school in Germany with the DoDDS system, and after time in the states graduated from a DoDDS school in Germany. I began teaching at Fort Jackson schools before I taught at Pelion Elementary School. After two years at PES I transferred to White Knoll Middle School. I taught 7th grade there for 13 years. In 2004 I was hired to teach in the DoDDS system which gave my husband and I a chance to serve in Japan, South Korea, Ft Bragg, and in England. After I retired, we returned to Lexington. In May, my husband died from cancer and I am moving forward as he would have wanted. I look forward to teaching both ELA and Social Studies.
