• We want your input about the next Lexington District One superintendent. 

    The firm hired by the Lexington District One Board of Trustees to lead the superintendent search – the South Carolina School Boards Associations – will hold five community meetings to hear feedback from families and community members. 

    The community meetings will be held June 8 and 9. 

     

    Wednesday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m.
    White Knoll High – Learning Commons (Library)
    River Bluff High – Gator Commons (Use Entrance B.)
    Gilbert High – Cafeteria 

    Thursday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m.
    Pelion High – Cafeteria (Park in student parking lot off Highway 178. Enter through the door to the left of the panther statue.)
    Lexington High – Cafeteria

     

    All are invited to attend. You do not have to attend the meeting held at the school for which you are zoned. 

    They will provide a brief overview of the search process and gather your input on the following:  

    What characteristics, experiences and professional attributes should the Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees look for in the recruitment, screening, and selection process for the next Superintendent of Schools?
